Who is Dr. Ender Vardar

I believe the most fundamental problem in medicine is that, due to excessive specialization, we have lost a holistic perspective. Over the years, I realized this: for lasting improvement, it is necessary to focus on root causes with a holistic view. This approach led me to a functional medicine perspective; by evaluating the person together with genetic, biochemical, and lifestyle components, I create an evidence-based, personalized roadmap.

I have received advanced training in preventive medicine, Functional Medicine, and Holistic Medicine. I hold Ministry of Health–approved certifications in hypnotherapy and ozone therapy. I am a scientific board member and instructor of the Functional Medicine Platform, one of the pioneering organizations of Functional Medicine in Türkiye. Since 2009, I have been organizing preventive medicine seminars and contributing to increasing public health awareness.

By integrating Functional Medicine practices with psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, and ozone therapy, I provide care to my clients with an understanding of “Personalized Holistic Medicine.”

Education and Professional Journey

  • I completed my medical education at Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine.
  • In my early years, I gained clinical experience in intensive care and anesthesiology. This process taught me the biological functioning of the human body and the delicate balance between life and death.

My Trainings in Psychotherapy and Psychology

  • Esenyurt University – Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology
  • Psychotherapy Institute – Holistic Psychotherapy and Hypnosis trainings
  • Medipol University – Ministry of Health–approved Hypnotherapy training
  • CİSED – Sex Therapy and Marriage Therapy
  • Family Counseling – training approved by the Ministry of Family and Social Policies

Functional Medicine

  • Functional Medicine Platform – Scientific Board member and instructor
  • Here, I provide trainings that bring together modern medicine’s biochemical knowledge and psychotherapy’s human-centered approach.

My Philosophy of a Holistic Approach

Addressing psychological issues only at the mental level often yields short-term solutions. My approach is this:

  • Mind: thought patterns, schemas, belief systems
  • Emotion: suppressed emotions, trauma, relational patterns
  • Body: sleep routine, the gut–brain axis, stress hormones
  • Spirit: search for meaning, existential questions, connection with inner resources

Thanks to this holistic perspective, clients not only get rid of a symptom; they also get to know themselves, discover their inner potential, and begin to live their lives more fully.

FigureAreas of Expertise

Anxiety and Depression

Anxiety disorders, panic attacks, intense stress, and depression are among the most common problems of the modern age. By using CBT, schema therapy, and hypnotherapy techniques, I help clients both cope with symptoms and recognize root causes.

Procrastination

Chronic procrastination is not merely “laziness”; it is often an expression of self-confidence issues and difficulties with emotional regulation. My 8-week procrastination program focuses on breaking this cycle sustainably through both psychotherapy and hypnotherapy modules.

Relationship and Sexual Therapy

  • Communication problems between couples

  • Premature ejaculation, erectile dysfunction, vaginismus

  • Lack of emotional intimacy
By using evidence-based therapy schools and hypnotherapeutic methods together, I provide holistic support in these areas.

Eating Behaviors and Weight Management

It is not possible to solve eating disorders, emotional eating, or difficulty losing weight with “diet” alone. Working on subconscious eating behaviors with hypnotherapy is a powerful method for lasting change.

Trauma and Regression

Trauma does not remain only in the past; it also affects today’s choices and emotions. With regression hypnotherapy, I help clients access past experiences safely and support their healing.

Therapeutic Approaches I Use

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Schema Therapy
  • Psychodynamic Therapy
  • Gestalt Therapy
  • Existential Therapy
  • ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy)
  • Emotion-Focused Therapy
  • Solution-Focused Therapy
  • Transactional Analysis (TA)
  • Ericksonian Hypnotherapy

For each client, the therapy plan is customized according to their personal story.

Functional Medicine Perspective

When evaluating psychological problems, I also take biological factors into account.

  • Gut–brain relationship
  • Sleep routine
  • Hormonal balance
  • Nutrition habits

Thanks to functional medicine, I offer clients personal lifestyle recommendations that support “body–mind–spirit integrity.”

In-Person and Online Therapy in Nişantaşı

  • In the center of Istanbul, I meet with my clients face-to-face in a peaceful and secure office environment.
  • I provide therapy via online platforms to clients from all over Türkiye and abroad. It offers great convenience, especially for those with busy schedules and those living in different cities.

Figure What Do My Clients Gain?

  • Anxiety and stress management
  • Developing self-compassion
  • Building healthy relationships
  • Overcoming emotional eating behaviors

  • Breaking free from addictions (smoking, alcohol, substances, etc.)

Each process is a journey of self-discovery and transformation for the client.

Your First Meeting With Me

The first meeting is the process of getting acquainted with the client, understanding their needs, and outlining a roadmap. At this stage:

  • You share your concerns and expectations
  • I explain which methods may be suitable for you
  • Together, we create a “therapy plan”

The first meeting is also a “fit” test. Client–therapist compatibility is the foundation of a healthy process.
