Vaginismus and Pregnancy

Although it is extremely rare, it is possible for patients with vaginismus to become pregnant without full sexual intercourse. During incomplete sexual intercourse, male sperm may enter the vagina.

This is entirely due to the swimming ability of sperm ejaculated outside the vagina. Sperm can first reach the vagina, then travel through the vagina to the uterus and later to the tubes, where they may fertilize an egg released during ovulation and cause pregnancy. It is also possible to encounter similar pregnancy cases in virgins, where there has been no sexual intercourse and the hymen is still intact. In other words, you can have a child while experiencing a vaginismus problem. However, this situation does not solve your vaginismus problem. It may cause you to postpone the problem even more.

For our patients who apply to our clinic for vaginismus treatment, their greatest desire is to be able to have a child and ensure the continuity of their family. We also witness that many patients unfortunately apply directly to IVF centers just to be able to have a child. Although couples may have a chance to have a child through IVF or insemination, their vaginismus and sexual problems will not be resolved.

However, with the treatment of vaginismus that can be performed at our center within 2-3 days, you will gain both the chance of pregnancy through natural means and the chance to permanently resolve your sexual problem.

When the vaginismus problem is resolved, communication between couples becomes even stronger, and their love, respect, and self-confidence also increase. To raise a healthy child with a happy and quality relationship, your priority should definitely be to solve vaginismus first.
